1st, I would like to share the gift from the kids to their Dad for Father's Day. It was done with the freezer paper technique -
OMGosh!!!!
LOVE this technique, so easy to do on t-shirts. Then I painted my kids hands and they left their hand print around Dads heart. As you can see this is not that easy to do with a 19 month old... his hand print is a little blobby. LOL!
2nd, I did these canvas bags for the Teacher and 2 Para's for the end of the year gifts... I used the freezer paper technique (not as easy on canvas, but do~able) I had my daughter put her hand print on the bag & I made her hand into a flower. Cute right?! Hence the ..."Thanks for helping me grow!" sentiment. I am going to put things in for a Movie Night (that was the winner in my little poll I had) such as, a gift card to Blockbuster, movie size bag of M&M's with a cute little poem about the teacher & of course some microwave popcorn.
Thanks for stopping by & looking, Staci
I think it is perfect just the way it is, don't add anymore.
ReplyDeleteMy father is an artist and he always says the most famous paintings etc., are the simplest ones.
Remember less is more.
What cute ideas!!!
