2 Trendy Blog Awards ~ Feeling the Love :0)

I received this blog award from 2 awesome blogger's.
Celeste from Touched by a Butterfly & Heather from Images by Heather
both of these girls are crazy talented check them out!
Thanks girls!
Rules for this award are as follows...
Thank the person from who you received the award from... check!
give the Trendy Blogger award to 10 other blogger's whom I think display their talent and time/effort on their trendy blog site... Check!
I am also to list two reasons why I started blogging and why I continue to blog. Check!

1. I started blogging originally to promote my ebay listing which I am no longer doing.
2. I continue because I want a way to share with others that have the same interest since none of my friends share my interest in scrapbooking. I also like to share svgs I convert with others and maybe inspire a person or two.

now onto 10 blogger's who I wish to pass this to....
this is a tough one, so I am going to break the rules a little... I would like to pass this on to all of my followers if they would like to accept it.

check out Imaginisce

they have some cool IRock projects and a giveaway... good luck!

Started a WW blog yesterday,

in hopes to stick to it this time. I figure if I can get some support and advice from others struggling over the same issue, I may stick to it. Yes I know I could go to the actual WW meetings, but financially that is not an option for me at this time. I have all the literature from when I started and failed last year & I know how to use the point system, so I figured I would do it on my own & journal my foods on my blog & post some made & found recipes to help stick to the program. My ultimate goal is to drop 40 lbs. My current goal is to loose 15-20lbs before my trip to Daytona & Disney in November. So, wish me luck!!! Staci ~~ Sick and Tired of being Fat!

Making Cookies for Santa LO

This is a 2 page layout I did off of a sketch by Allison Davis. She has these awesome sketches that you can use several photos on & always has 2 pagers... you could always use them to make 1 pagers too. Here is the best part.... she gives you all the details!! Check out her stuff to see what I mean. She actually road maps it for you. She also does this awesome weekly thing on her blog where she shows you how to take the 1 sketch & change it up 5 different ways.
The girls got it goin on!!!
She has 6 books with 30 sketches & a card sketch book too... NO I don't have any affiliation to her, I just think she offers some very helpful info & her sketches are so easy to follow with her little "road maps" as I call them.
You can click on each photo for a closer look.

So here is a look at the full 2 page lo

Here is a shot of the 1st page... the gingerbread is a svg from Treasure Box Designs.
Isn't she just too cute!
The cookies on the tray & rolling pin are stickers from Jolee's

A look at the 2 page.

Thanks for looking!

(he has 5 brothers & 1 sister). Kira was the flower girl.
I finally have a nice family picture to put into my Family layout I made a long time ago. Click here to see the post.

Gift for our new Great Niece ~ UPDATED

update ~ I had a few people ask what font I used on the name & it is Victorian LET
This is a Baby Name Collage for my husbands nephew and his wife for their little baby girl.
I got this great idea from Amy's Blog...
I am waiting on their color choice for the room so I can paint the frame. I've had this done for some time now & have been waiting to post it until after I paint it, but I just couldn't wait to share it anymore. My SIL told me that they are going to go with some sort of Giraffe theme.
I used a the Giraffe pattern from Jills Paper Jems ~ Cudley Cuties Collection.
I hope they like it!
A close up of the adorable little Giraffe.
Isn't he just a real cutie!

I did some dry embossing, Stickling, pop dotting for dimension, inking, chalking & a little doodling. I am very pleased with the way it came out.
You can click on the pics for a closer view if you'd like.
Thanks for dropping by!

This is my very first ever attempt at making my own paper flower. I saw one of these made out of coffee filters on Ideas for Scrapbookers & I had to try it। Mine is made out of card stock (med-light weight card stock) I think it is a good first attempt... time consuming but the outcome is worth it. Now I have to make a layout to go with it. TFL. xxx, Staci
