Room decor for my Son

My husband and I decided it was time for my son Aiden to have a big boy room (he turned 3 in November). We painted his room a taupey brown (pecan sandie was the name of the color) and bought a Jr. loft bed. Since the room is so small this was a great space saver, we can fit a small dresser under it in the future if need be, but for now it is a great play area ~ sort of fort like, which he LOVES.
So I gave the Big Boy a few theme choices ie; cars, jungle animals, trucks or dinosaurs.... He choose Dino's & I am so glad he did because Michelle (Designs on Cloud 9) has this adorable pattern set called "Dino Mite"
I took 4 12x12 canvas' painted them black & then built 4 coordinating scenes on them to hang on his wall.
I just LOVE how they turned out.

Once his room is totally completed I will post photos. We still need to find him a chest of draws (Geez, I have not been able to find a decently made & affordable piece of furniture in black...furniture is just not made as well as it used to be) and my Mom is finishing up his curtains. They are coming out so cute.... I wanted Primary colors and it is very difficult to find nice curtains that have a dino print in primary colors, they all seem to be green, brown and yellows. So we bought a blue sheet from Walmart & I found a dino print fabric at a local fabric store (a little expensive per yard) so we bought a little bit of two different print fabrics to make a border on the solid curtain and Mom is putting together his curtains.
Thanks for visiting!
Hugs, Staci
