How sweet of you to mention us...thank you so much Staci....and I will check the other one out as well....always up for a new flower!
ReplyDeleteHey Staci! I wanted to stop by and say thank you for commenting on my SVG blog! I also wanted to answer your question. I am a newbie and learning all of this stuff, but I have found the tutorial's on Heather's blog to be soooo helpful! They are simple and easy to follow. Here is the link for you:

Now that is the direct link to all of her tutorials. For the scarecrow I did on my blog, I followed her 'paper piecing using Inkscape' tutorial. I actually found the tutorials on the SCAL forum and followed the link to her blog. She is so talented!!!! But back to the scarecrow, that is only the 2nd paper piecing one I have ever done. It took about 30 minutes I guess. It was tricky at first, but the more I played with it, I got the hang of it. I think a lot of Inkscape is just getting in there and learning through trial and error, ya know? :)
Let me know if I can help ya any more! I also am gonna add ya to my fave link list. Love your files too!
Oh, and what a cute blog you have here too! It's gorgeous! Tee Hee! TTYL!

Staci - fabulous blog!! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by mine and become a follower.
ReplyDeleteI don't have Sure Cuts A Lot yet but after seeing all the wonderful stuff everyone is doing, makes me think it belongs on my Christmas list.
Hugs & Happy Days!
