Check out Diane's post from Capadia Designs blog, she makes great use of the pos and neg cuts of her card... this is a great technique to use if you have multiples to make...such as my kids classmates for the holidays!!

Started a WW blog yesterday,

in hopes to stick to it this time. I figure if I can get some support and advice from others struggling over the same issue, I may stick to it. Yes I know I could go to the actual WW meetings, but financially that is not an option for me at this time. I have all the literature from when I started and failed last year & I know how to use the point system, so I figured I would do it on my own & journal my foods on my blog & post some made & found recipes to help stick to the program. My ultimate goal is to drop 40 lbs. My current goal is to loose 15-20lbs before my trip to Daytona & Disney in November. So, wish me luck!!! Staci ~~ Sick and Tired of being Fat!

Making Cookies for Santa LO

This is a 2 page layout I did off of a sketch by Allison Davis. She has these awesome sketches that you can use several photos on & always has 2 pagers... you could always use them to make 1 pagers too. Here is the best part.... she gives you all the details!! Check out her stuff to see what I mean. She actually road maps it for you. She also does this awesome weekly thing on her blog where she shows you how to take the 1 sketch & change it up 5 different ways.

She has 6 books with 30 sketches & a card sketch book too... NO I don't have any affiliation to her, I just think she offers some very helpful info & her sketches are so easy to follow with her little "road maps" as I call them.

Family Weekend ~ Wedding

These are pictures of the Family wedding we went to this weekend on Long Island. We spent the entire weekend out there starting on Fri for the rehersal dinner & then we had a Baptism to attend on Sunday ~ another brother of my hubby's up from FL for the weekend. (he has 5 brothers & 1 sister). Kira was the flower girl.

This is a Baby Name Collage for my husbands nephew and his wife for their little baby girl.

I got this great idea from Amy's Blog...

I am waiting on their color choice for the room so I can paint the frame. I've had this done for some time now & have been waiting to post it until after I paint it, but I just couldn't wait to share it anymore. My SIL told me that they are going to go with some sort of Giraffe theme.

I used a the Giraffe pattern from Jills Paper Jems ~ Cudley Cuties Collection.

I hope they like it!

I did some dry embossing, Stickling, pop dotting for dimension, inking, chalking & a little doodling. I am very pleased with the way it came out.

1st Day Pre~K

This is my very first ever attempt at making my own paper flower. I saw one of these made out of coffee filters on Ideas for Scrapbookers & I had to try it। Mine is made out of card stock (med-light weight card stock) I think it is a good first attempt... time consuming but the outcome is worth it. Now I have to make a layout to go with it. TFL. xxx, Staci
