My Memories Suite software Review & GIVEAWAY!

OK , so as I mentioned in a few posts back, I was given the opportunity to review My Memories Suite Digital Scrapbbook software. Well, I have been playing with it and it is AWESOME ~ and I am loving it! I need to get some more kits when I get some extra dough, but none the less I am liking it, A LOT!

It is pretty easy to navigate and use and what you don't know they have several very good tutorials on their blog and there is super supportive Facebook friends that will jump right in and answer your questions! They also have videos on their Youtube Channel...

So here are a few layouts I have been playing around with.

These were all done with a blank slate except for the last one.

I did the layouts and added the embellies, but they have quick pages where you just drag and drop your photos into. The last layout I used is a Designer Template & I added a .png file from Designs on Cloud 9 The 2nd to last one also has a .png from Designs on Cloud 9 also.

and made the bear into a Tear Bear (acrylic tear bear pattern from The Beary Scrap)

My very first attempt at Digital Scrapbooking

Finally got the program uploaded to my computer today & played just a little.... so here is my very first attempt at making something with My Memories Suite digital scrapbooking. I even figured out how to incorporate a png from Designs on Cloud 9. I also used a sketch from Sketchsupport.com

So I will play some more and get my review and giveaway up by the end of the week so stay tuned.

Sweet 16 Birthday Card

Happy Saturday all! I made this easel card this am for a friends daughter.

I used Svg Lacey Tags and the Birthday Girl Digital Stamp from Designs on Cloud 9.

I entered this card into The Beary Scrap Challenge #31

I woke up this am Sun 6/14 & realized I forgot to add the flowers in the upper right side of my card, it was part of the sketch challenge. I was in such a hurry to get it finished as we were leaving for the party in a while... whoopsie~

Playing with Digital Images in a cool inexpensive way

So, I saw this cool you~tube video about using colored pencils and blending with baby oil...

So I printed out two Digi Stamps from Designsoncloud9.com

Now for some reason my net book computer prints some of my documents fuzzy and others perfect....well these are fuzzy (NO fault of Design on Cloud 9) Like I said, it was my computer.

Any who... I had this Copics colorless blending pen that I won in a Big Blog Candy a while back (had no clue what to do with it so I put it to the side) After seeing the video I thought that this pen was just what I needed to use to dip into the baby oil since I thought it was a dry thing for blending...well it has some type of liquid in it, so I try the pen as is on the top image with Crayola Colored Pencils... Not too bad

The bottom image is done with Crayola Colored Pencils, a Q-tip and baby oil.... Now if I had a blending tool such as a paper stump or stub I think it would have come out a whole lot better.... I really had no control of where the color blended to due to the Q-tip being so broad. So next trip to Michael's or AC Moore I will be on the hunt for Paper Stumps (this is what someone told me that they are called) Pretty cheap coloring tool! I can not afford to buy 24 $4 markers so my $1.97 for 24 pencils and a $2 generic bottle of baby oil is a perfect price point for me!! :0)

Digital Scrapbooking

This is something I always wanted to try, but did not have the money to spend on yet another crafting tool.... so I am lucky enough to be able to review a digital software program and when completed with the the review one lucky follower can win a copy of the program as well.

I am having issues with my laptop & can not yet download the program to start playing so I am in the process of deciding whether to fix my it or buy new, but in the mean time I have been checking out their blog and their tutorials and website I am loving the looks of this software! It seems pretty easy to use -

You can even design your own photo books with it!

They have beautiful kits that they sell, already made templates where you can just drag and drop your photos for a quick project, they even have a $1 store.

I am so excited to get into it and play you don't even know!! I wish my laptop was working properly!

These carts are all still in there original boxes boxes and they all come with their book and the overlay. NONE of them have been linked to Gypsy, I don't own one. Some have never been used (they are opened) and others are hardly used, I was more of a collector of them then I really used them.
