Bottle caps images anyone?

I have been playing around and making some 1" bottle cap images. I have some bottle caps coming in the mail to play with and will post my projects as I make them.

 I have made some Monster High images, Angry Bird images and Hello Kitty so far.

If your interested, the images come as a zipped file in .jpg, and .png formats (they print out onto 8.5" x 11" paper) they all have a slight border around them.  Use a 1" circle punch to cut them out.

Pre~K Graduation layout

Planting Tomatoes Layout and DC9 FREEBIE

TGIF!!!  Just wanted to share a layout of my kids.

We tried a garden in the past, but my the majority of my little backyard is shady and my garden did not do well at all even though it got sun some parts of the day, but I guess you need that all day sun for a great garden.  So, I had my hubby take down the huge garden box, level out the soil and just plant grass, now we container plants on my deck which is mostly in the sun.  Last year I had tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers planted, but this year we only did regular tomatoes and grape tomatoes.  I let my kids plant some and they had a great time doing and love to sneak out and pick the red grapes and just pop'em right then and there.

I used a past freebie from Designs on Cloud 9 "Seeds of Kindness" and parts of the "Spring Beauty" pattern set, the title I did on my own.

Here is a close up of the little cuties on the seed packet.

At the Lake paper piecing set

Just thought I would share a paper piecing set I made for a customer request.

I used the "at the Lake" pattern set for all of the pieces except for the wooden signs and cat tails, they came from the "Don't Worry be Hoppy" pattern set and the tufts of grass came from the "Egg Hunt" pattern set, all from Designs on Cloud 9.

Scavenger Hunt layout & DC9 Freebie

Well I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Somerset last Saturday & I found the cool concept called "framing".

I love the concept because it helps you visualize your layout before you cut anything out.  Check out the video on "framing" by Kiwilane.com and tell me what you think.
I also used some SVG's from Designsoncloud9.com .

I used 2 sets for this layout...

"At the Lake" & "School Bear"  

I made my bears out of felt instead of mulberry paper or cardstock.

I left the one mat blank because I took a picture of their finds, but forgot to order the print.
