Winter Gift Bag

Hi all, this is my first DT post for Joyslife.com (AWESOME rubber stamps).
I of course am still designing for DesignsonCloud9.com too. (ADORABLE cutting files, and more).
So onto my little gift bag made using product from both of those GREAT sites.
I used the "Oh Christmas Puns" stamp set on this adorable bag.  I made the bag using DC9's tall handle bag from "basic Bags" collection, and embellished it with the snowflake border from "Holiday Short Borders", #1 label from "Laurie's Labels" and the sitting snowman from "Snowman Joy" pattern sets.  Added a little wispy fiber around the top and whala perfect presentation for any little gift!

Cards

Morning all!  I just wanted to share 2 cards I made... I would love to start making more cards they are just so much more personal to give then a store bought.  Don't get me wrong I still buy the occasional card when it is a last minute deal or an OMGosh I forgot moment (We all have those moments LOL)
Both cards are pinterest.com inspired.
I have to tell that is one ADDICTIVE sight... so so many cool things and lots and lots of inspiration!!!

This card I made for my Godmother's wedding...
I used the curly flowers pattern set from Designs on Cloud 9

This one I made for a special friend, for her Birthday!
I used the "Scalloped Circle Shapes" and the "Lacy Tags" Pattern sets from Designs on Cloud 9.
If you are interested in how to make the flower, the tutorial for it is HERE

I hope you like them!

Tic Tac Toe

I wanted to make something a little different for my Designs on Cloud 9 DT project this week. So I was thinking about games and vacation and how my daughter loves to play Tic Tac Toe with us, so this is what I came up with.... I hope you like it.

I will try to give you an idea of how I made this. I apologize in advance for my horrible directions as I am not very good at explaining things.
1. I imported the sun and palm tree from the Pink Paradise pattern set and the flip flops from flip flop family set into SCAL2
2. I added a rounded edge rectangle from the SCAL shapes library
3. overlapped, sized and postitioned them the way I wanted them
4. copied the resized files and pasted them onto page 2 in scal
5. went back to page 1 and then unioned (made one piece) the sun, palm and rectangle together
6. I cut the board and the base of the flip flops out of heavy duty cereal boxes
7. I then cut all the seperated pieces out of card stock and patterend paper
8. chalked, inked doodled and assembled.
Now I need to laminate all the pieces so they can actually stand up to a lot of handling.
Sorry again about my horrible directions.
