I hopped onto this wonderful hop as a fill in for someone who had to drop out last minute, so that is why my layout already has photos in it & will not be going to the bride... crafting community at it's finest; jumping in to lend a hand :0)

So here is my project I made as a gift for my Aunt, I put this layout into a shadow box for her to hang on a wall or put on a shelf.

I also wanted to share a wedding shower card I made for a niece of mine

Family Weekend ~ Wedding

Click on this picture to see more, if you would like.

These are pictures of the Family wedding we went to this weekend on Long Island. We spent the entire weekend out there starting on Fri for the rehersal dinner & then we had a Baptism to attend on Sunday ~ another brother of my hubby's up from FL for the weekend. (he has 5 brothers & 1 sister). Kira was the flower girl.
I finally have a nice family picture to put into my Family layout I made a long time ago. Click here to see the post.

Wedding cards and an SVG to share / BSC #5 /cuttlebug challenges

This is the bridal shower card.... all svg's were used on this card except for the doily.
I unfortunately don't remember where the dress, & flourish svg files came from, but the leaves aI converted from a picture on EBAY (these are the MS frond leaf punch I was asking about in a prior post) I will share the file if anyone is interested.
I welded & cut some ovals to add some dimesion to the dress & embossed both the oval piece and the dress, layered them and added pearls around the waist and some lace to the bottom, stickles all around the edges for sparkle & texture. The roses are fabric & I added stickles to both the roses & the leaves.
Click here for the file! Enjoy
This is just a simple card that I am going to give with the wedding gift.
I took a plain white card and stamped the flourishes all around the edges to make a patterned paper look. Then I embossed the mat & framed it with pearls.

I entered these cards to the Beary Scrap Challenge #5 Emboss it!
I also started the Sisterhood of Scrap Summer Sizzler Challange & put these into that.
I know I will never win that one, since I lost my mojo & don't have to much time to scrap especially in the Summer time, but I will give it a try!

Gift for my Aunt ~

This is a layout I did for my Aunt as a wedding gift that I am going to put in a shadow box as soon as I find the right one. I was going to make her a scrapbook but she went online and made herself a digital scrapbook. I know they are not the same, but I decided to make this so she can always have it in sight and she would not have to pull out 2 big books with similar photos in it to show everyone. This can be hung on the wall or put on a shelf for all to see all the time. I did the photos in sepia with a soft focus (they aren't blurry). Her wedding was in Oct so her colors were that off fall & her home is all neutrals, so this will work well anywhere she decides to put it.
I hope she likes it, I love the way it turned out. I would love to hear what you all think of it.
I am also going to enter it into Sketches in Thyme's first challenge.

(well I didn't get to enter it due to some error on the linky thingy saying that the collection was closed several hours earlier than it should have been closed)
