Some projects to share

Don't forget to leave a comment on my Candy post to be eligible to win my small candy giveaway. You must tell me what you will be doing on Thanksgiving in order to be included in the draw.

I used Sketches for Scrapbooking by Scrapbook Generation for these two layouts and the card.
They are having a Creative Team call, so I thought I would try out...these are my submissions.

2 pager with lots of photos, I love how they incorporate so many pics in their sketches.
All the goodies I used on this one page layout I received in Debbie's Yummy Candy @
This card I made for my husbands friends that have invited us for Thanksgiving Dinner and to stay at their home on our way to and from our Florida trip.
Thanks for visiting!

Fishing with GG LO

Here is a layout based off of above sketch from sketchablities that I did of my Daughter & my Grandmother.
We call her GG...short for Great Grandma...
My daughter was teaching her how to play the game Let's Go Fishin'
Shhhh, GG is cheating ~ see how she is holding the fishing pole (click photo for a larger view) LOL!
Last pic on the lo is my daughter telling a TALL tale of the size fish she caught when she went fishing for the first time in SC.
Wouldn't be fishin without a TALL tale... LOL!
Thanks for looking!

I used Cley's fishing pole svg, one of Penny Ducan's Shapely heart svg's & I am truly sorry, but I don't remeber where I got the side border from. (If anyone knows I would love to give credit)
The font is called Fudger.
The little fish hanging off of the fishing line is made of a small oval and 2 tiny Prima flowers that I cut up to make lips and fins.

Family Weekend ~ Wedding

Click on this picture to see more, if you would like.

These are pictures of the Family wedding we went to this weekend on Long Island. We spent the entire weekend out there starting on Fri for the rehersal dinner & then we had a Baptism to attend on Sunday ~ another brother of my hubby's up from FL for the weekend. (he has 5 brothers & 1 sister). Kira was the flower girl.
I finally have a nice family picture to put into my Family layout I made a long time ago. Click here to see the post.

You are my Sunshine / no svg to share today (sorry)

This is a layout of my Son Aiden playing in the little pool we have set up on the deck.  The small pic on top is him saying enthusiastically "CHEESE" , he is such a ham!

A close up of some of the stitching and the title, an SVG title I got from Just Yolie's blog, she is a sweetie and shares alot of svg's & great projects.

The wave border & sun are svg's, but I don't remember where I got them from, but the flourish I picked up from Images by Heather M.  She is awesome, she has alot of great svg files and a wealth of tutorial for SCAL & Inkscape.

I hope you like it, I kinda love this one, so bright and cheery & he just looks so so cute!!!
Thanks for stopping by.  xxx, Staci

Quick layout ~ SMILE

Simple layout, just stiched some scrap patterned paper together on a mat, added a pic of course, some stiching around the photo and entire layout, buttons & a title (I tried to mimic the colors in his bib onto the title) Kinda tied the bottom patterend paper to the top of the layout.
This is a picture of my son Aidens first caught on camera smile ~ he is almost 2 months old in this photo. This is Creative Scrappers #107 sketch. Well off to work soon & then to Atlantic City for a few days, just to sit on the beach, take the kids to the Cape May County Zoo & chillax!!!

Four

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
Hope everyone is having a great day celebrating with family and friends, I just wanted to post this before we head out to the neighbors for their annual 4th of July bash.

I am on a roll, this is the second layout I have completed in two days.. WOW!!, and I have a third that is just waiting on pictures. Have you ever taken a picture and load it up onto the computer and it just hits you right away - "I need to scrap this" and you know exactly what you want on it, from the title to the papers, colors everything. OF COURSE IT DOES!! WHAT AM I ASKING ~ YOU ARE A SCRAP~BOOKER!!
well, that is what happened to me and I don't print my pics from the computer (don't like the way my printer does them) so it is sitting on my work area awaiting it's photos.

Anywho, this is my daughter Kira at age 4. I used a sketch from scrap a-little-sketch.com / sketch #27. The daisies are an svg from Shirley's blog ~ Paper,Scissors, Ink. The daisy circle is from Paulo's blog SCAL-files (I think). I don't have a clue where I got the fence file from (looks like the sizzix die cut fence). I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.

Hot Rod / SOUS / svg to share

This is my take on the sketch this week over at Stuck on you Sketches
they added an extra challange this week to use red, white & blue on your layout. Well I incorporated red, white & blue on my layout but not in the way that they may have meant (4th of July) none the less I got those colors in my layout. :0)
Also I have the motorcycle svg to share that I used on this layout.

Gift for my Aunt ~

This is a layout I did for my Aunt as a wedding gift that I am going to put in a shadow box as soon as I find the right one. I was going to make her a scrapbook but she went online and made herself a digital scrapbook. I know they are not the same, but I decided to make this so she can always have it in sight and she would not have to pull out 2 big books with similar photos in it to show everyone. This can be hung on the wall or put on a shelf for all to see all the time. I did the photos in sepia with a soft focus (they aren't blurry). Her wedding was in Oct so her colors were that off fall & her home is all neutrals, so this will work well anywhere she decides to put it.
I hope she likes it, I love the way it turned out. I would love to hear what you all think of it.
I am also going to enter it into Sketches in Thyme's first challenge.

(well I didn't get to enter it due to some error on the linky thingy saying that the collection was closed several hours earlier than it should have been closed)

Title help, please

This is my take on a sketch by Liz Qualman, I flipped it and changed it a smidge.

I need some suggestions for a title if you talented peps can help me out.
A little about the pics...It was in Sept. & we were at a small shopping village in Smithville, NJ... the picture was taken in a gazebo where we were feeding the ducks and fish. This was a first for my son (feeding the fish & ducks). He was 10 months at the time. Thank you for any help.
